March 4, 2016 - Flow
In this class we look at two different ways of considering "Flow".
The first is a physical view. The second is an experiential view.
For the physical view, we look at the work of Adrian Bejan, J. A. Jones Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Duke University.
In 1995, Bejan developed The Constructal Law as a universal law that is predictive of the design and structure of all living systems, including social systems. He is the author of Design in Nature: How the Constructal Law Governs Evolution in Biology, Physics, Technology and Social Organizations. His latest book, The Physics of Life, is available now by pre-order for the May 24, 2016 release.
